Description: There are classes for street cars, formula cars and sports racers: the SCCA Spec Racer® Ford, Improved Touring classes for slightly modified low-cost street cars, the popular Formula Vee open wheel class, as well as many others. In 1960, the D.C. Region decided to establish a Regional Championship racing program that would give depth and continuity to the schedule of local racing. The answer came in the form of the new Mid-Atlantic Road Racing Series, or MARRS. Full fields and close racing in all the groups is a hallmark of the series. A good time at the track is virtually guaranteed at a MAARS event.

Description: (This one takes place at the Shenandoah Circuit)Motorcycle racing is one of the most exhilarating sports known to mankind. It combines the thrill of riding at high speeds inches apart from other competitors. CCS classes are broken down into easy-to-understand categories including Lightweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight and Unlimited. There are also classes for twin cylinder, single cylinder and two-stoke Grand Prix machines. CCS Racing is a breeding ground for the AMA. Championship Cup Series (CCS) is the largest sportsman motorcycle road racing series in the United States. Some of the riders who have competed with CCS over the years include Ashmead, DuHamel, Edwards, Russell, Sadowski, Spencer, Hayden and many others.
